History

Little Easton Memorial Hall, built as a village hall to commemorate those who lost their lives in both World Wars, was constructed shortly after the Second World War by Pickfords Builders Ltd on land previously donated to the Parish by ’Daisy’, Countess of Warwick.  For many years the Hall, although technically in the ownership of the Parish Council, was operated on a day-to-day basis by an annually elected management committee.  More recently the parish council granted newly appointed trustees, a 60 year tenancy of the Hall and car-park by way of a trust deed and lease dated February 1996.  The lease ownership of the Hall and surrounding land was transferred in 2010 to the Official Custodian for Charities as holding trustee.

Since its construction, it has been greatly extended and over the past few years the Management Committee has undertaken an on-going programme of modernisation of all the facilities.  This includes refurbishment of the kitchen and toilets, provision of gas central heating and construction of a new storeroom.
